Why Choose Halalsabun

FAQ About Halalsabun HalalTablets
What makes Halalsabun tablets different from other tablets?
Our tablets are made only from plant-based and mineral ingredients — no phosphates, chlorine, microplastics, or synthetic fragrance. Just as powerful as mainstream brands, but fully safe for you, your family, and the environment. Made in Europe, cruelty-free, in 100% plastic-free packaging.
How do I use the tablets?
Place one tablet in the main detergent compartment of your dishwasher and close the door. Choose your preferred cycle and start the machine. One tablet per cycle is enough — even with a full load. Using more tablets won't improve the result.
Do the tablets also remove stubborn grease and stuck-on residue?
Yes! The plant-based enzymes in our tablets — protease and amylase — effectively break down protein and starch residue. Sodium percarbonate delivers active oxygen cleaning that handles stubborn grease effortlessly, without harsh bleaches or chlorine.
Do the tablets leave streaks or spots on glassware and cutlery?
No. Our tablets rinse off completely and residue-free. Your glassware and cutlery come out clear and sparkling — no white film or streaks, even on wine glasses.
Are the tablets safe for my dishwasher?
Absolutely. Our tablets are suitable for all standard dishwashers. They dissolve completely during the cycle and leave no residue in the machine or spray arm. Regular use can even help reduce limescale buildup, thanks to the citric acid.
Do I still need separate rinse aid or salt?
The citric acid in our tablets helps prevent limescale on your dishes and inside your machine. In hard-water areas we recommend keeping the dishwasher salt reservoir topped up for best results. Separate rinse aid generally isn't needed.
Are the tablets safe for baby bottles and children's dishes?
Yes, completely. Our tablets contain no fragrance, dyes, or synthetic preservatives. That makes them safe for washing baby bottles, toys, and children's dishes — ideal for families with young kids.
What's actually in the tablets?
Our tablets contain: sodium carbonate (natural water softening), sodium percarbonate (active oxygen cleaning), citric acid (limescale prevention), and plant-based enzymes protease & amylase (breaks down protein and starch residue). Fully free from: phosphates, chlorine, synthetic fragrance, microplastics, parabens, and SLS/SLES.
Are the tablets and packaging eco-friendly?
Yes! The ingredients are biodegradable and the packaging is 100% recyclable — no plastic wrap, no plastic tub. Each tablet is bound with a plant-based binder that dissolves completely in the machine.
How should I store the tablets?
Store the tablets in a dry spot at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight. The packaging is designed to protect the tablets optimally. Make sure your hands are dry when picking up a tablet so it doesn't start dissolving too early.
How does the 30-day risk-free trial work?
Order your first pack and use the tablets for 30 days. Not happy for any reason? Contact our customer service and get a full refund. No questions, no hassle — we stand fully behind our product.
How long does shipping take?
Orders placed on business days ship within 1-2 business days. Delivery typically arrives within 3-7 business days, depending on your location. You'll receive a tracking number as soon as your package is on its way.
Why aren't Cascade, Finish, Fairy, and other brands halal?
Most major dishwasher brands use:
- Enzymes from unknown sources (protease, amylase, lipase) — often without listing the source; may be animal-derived, including pork
- Animal fats as surfactants in foaming agents and surface-active ingredients
- Alcohol (ethanol, isopropanol) as a solvent or carrier
- No transparency about the source — impossible for Muslim consumers to verify
That's why they aren't automatically halal. Halalsabun avoids each of these: microbial enzymes, fully plant-based, alcohol-free, public ingredient list.
Does Halalsabun have a halal certification?
Not yet — Halalsabun is a young brand and we're working toward official certification. Until then, we're fully transparent: no alcohol, no pork, no animal enzymes or fats. The full ingredient list is above so you can decide for yourself whether Halalsabun fits your household.
What if I'm allergic to certain ingredients?
Our tablets are free from fragrance, dyes, parabens, and SLS/SLES — ingredients that commonly trigger allergic reactions. The full ingredient list is on the product page. Unsure? Consult your doctor or allergist before using the tablets.
