What is carbon-offset shipping?
Shipping your order produces CO2 emissions. This drives the greenhouse effect and warms our planet.
Carbon-offset shipping means we fully offset the CO2 caused by processing and shipping your order.
How do we do it?
For every order we receive, a dedicated formula calculates the estimated emissions of the shipment.
Based on those estimates, a share of our revenue goes to certified carbon-removal companies. These are companies vetted by scientists at Carbon Direct.
Those companies use that money to remove the same amount of CO2 our shipments produced. Any surplus funds the further development of carbon-removal technology.
